The light blended with our decor very well and throws a lot of light. Easy to install, although the hole in the glass was slightly off and the threaded rod for the finial would not go thru. Some very light filing fixed that. The light is over a stairway and the light output is excellent. Good quality construction for the price. Excellent value.

We bought 2 of these lights for the "man cave." The lights provide plenty of quality light. We also purchased one of the flush mounted lights and two of the matching wall sconces to use in the stairwell going down to the "man cave." The lights are truly beautiful and were easy to install. They are of high quality and add a certain class to the room. We have purchased a number of Murray Feiss fixtures and have had good luck with all of them. Great purchase. My husband rarely comments on anything purchased for the home, but he really liked these lights. It is amazing how these lights update the room.

I was a little worried when the shipment arrived, since the glass of the lamp is somewhat grey. But with 300 watts and the opening towards the ceiling, it does give enough light in our kitchen.
The contractor who installed it said that installation was not quite easy, the top hardware needed some adjustments to fit. About "value", I do not have much comparison, but the lamp is certainly not cheap.
